We wandered again in France and a bit in Switzerland. For a week we lived in an apartment house in the mountain town of Chamonix, famous for Mont Blanc, which rises above the town. We climbed to some of the most beautiful glacial lakes, took the Mont Blanc tram to 2300m and continued on foot to the Tete Rousse glacier and hut at 3167m, which is the starting point for Mont Blanc. We visited the ice cave on the Mer de Glace glacier, approached the Argentiere glacier and climbed to the waterfall, which also has a beautiful cave to see. We found ourselves on the balcony paths at a height of around 2000 to 2500m with a view of the Mont Blanc massif, we took a gondola to the Aiguille di Midi at 3800m and watched it up close. We continued on foot along the balcony path to Montenvers with a fantastic view of Dru. We went on a family via ferrata, which ends with a 30m suspension bridge, and finally, on the Swiss-French border, to a viewpoint at 2900m, for which we had to climb ladders. In addition to walking and beautiful views, the trek was full of laughter and fun, and we had a great time. Are you coming with us for another year???

They predicted a nice weekend. I haven't been to the Luznica valley for a while, but I'm going up there by myself. Sometimes that is also quite pleasant. Walking aimlessly, you go where your heart takes you. In the end, I landed on Vrhu nad Peski, and when I was coming back I climbed Maselnik. Even though the sun was shining, the path was hard and icy all the time, just right that the crampons had a good grip. On Sunday, climb the waterfalls with the Soški trainees before the ice melts.

When you go with a friend after 40 years to our Mojstrovka, you will relive memories. It really is ours, because in our youth we had a mountain camp in Vršič for at least 10 years in summer and winter, and each time we also visited Mojstrovka in different directions. And when you get kitsch weather as a reward, the day is perfect.

This time we're going to Krn right through the ravine. Great conditions, just really hard, it became clear at the top. Although they predicted a strong wind, there was only a breeze at the top, and it was pleasantly warm at the cabin.

Each night was brighter and a decision was made, I will go to Krn at sunset and back at a bright full moon. Together with the rescuer and photographer Miljkot, who had the same plans, we set off for the rather sunny Krn. The heat didn't let up until the last third, even though it's only January. When we were almost at the cottage, the sky began to change color from the setting sun. We hurried to the top and enjoyed the heavenly colors.

The girls made an effort and came to us in Krn from Bohinj, over many peaks. There was one more wish left for Red Edge, and we fulfilled her wish. The next day we went along the ridges above the village of Krn from Stador, Rdeče rob to Škofič. Great tour with divine views, sun, blue sky, no wind, good company with lots of laughter and good mood.
